Despite of the snowy weather we had in our area, it wasn't a hiendrance for us to go somewhere. In fact, we really enjoy every drops of snow as it touch our head or hair. Anyway, we went to downtown Denver to witnessed the lighting of the lights at the Denver Capitol. We didn't bother to get out from our car since there's no available parking space to park. There was but we have to walk that far and with the snowy weather, we didn't bother to gamble.
This is what the building looks like at night during the Christmas season
On the following day, which is Saturday, we had a get together eating bash. As usual, food were great like Pinakbet, Pork Chop, Pickeld Raddish, Shrimps soup, Sauted TauGi (?) and home made pumpkin pie. Our tummy were happy!
Merrybeth cooked all the yummylicious food
Sunday, our church day and my 38th birhday. We had our brunch after church at Pappadeaux (?) with my family. It was our first time to have brunch in this restaurant. For your information, in case you want to eat on this place...they have brunch on Sunday only.
While we're eating my toy was ringing and my two friends were singing happy birthday over the phone. They were inviting me to go shopping with them. It was so nice of my Bana to dropped me off at Flatiron Mall after our brunch. He said it's my birthday and need to enjoy my day.
For our dinner, we ended up eating at Cindi's place. We stopped by at Panda Express and Whole Food first to buy some food to eat aside from the dried fish and fried Bangus that Cindi cooked. For the evening dinner, I don't have any pics since my camera was full already with just the internal memory minus the chip. I will grab some pics from a friend. Arrived home by 9:30 PM and Hubby was romantically waiting for me. We had a great bathed with the bath salt that I bought from Bed Bath and Beyond. We ended our evening with so much sweetness and love.
