I went to work yesterday at 2:30 PM in the preschool. I worked for 4 hours watching the kids ages 3-6 year old watching the "Rainforest" movie.
What's good about working on Friday, it's movie day and right after the kids woke up and ate their afternoon snacks, they all settle down to watch the movie while waiting for their parents to pick them up.
Since it's the summer time, we don't have that many kids. Some are on vacations and some are with teens babysitting them. It's cheaper that way having someone babysit the kids than putting them in a daycare.
So, by 6:00 PM, all the kids were being picked up early. The three of us, as usual went out and eat. We went to a Vietnamese Restaurant inside the China Town and I think the name is "Saigon".
I am a soup lovers and ordered my well done beef soup with tendons and brisket. I shared my food with my girl.
Ate Caroline, did the same thing and for Mrs. Claus, she ordered the regular Chinese menu.
After filling up our hungry tummy, we headed out to Viet Hoa Supermarket for our Filipino food. I like this Asian store, indeed!
It was past 9:00 PM when we arrived home. Angelina was soundlessly sleeping in our car.
While I was driving coming home, Hubby called and remind me to be careful and be watchful in my driving since it's Friday. According to him, there's a lot of crazy people driving on Friday in the highways. Of course drunk drivers too because it's FLY DAY!
Hubby was right, I was following someone in I-25 and he was just driving like crazy as if he owned all lanes.
With God's protections and guidance, we made it home safe and sound. Thank you, Jesus as always for the traveling mercy.
