Angelina's been telling me that it's Thanksgiving month according to her teacher.
When I dropped her off to school, I saw their bulletin board being changed from Halloween to Thanksgiving Turkey. It's so cute to see all their names in the turkey wings and all their faces with the dried leaves around.
I was smiling reading our Angelina's answer about "What are you thankful for" I would say the teacher thinks they are just ordirary 1st names when Angelina gave Lo and La's names to them. I was so touched how she valued her Lo and La to be a part of her life. It was just her own answer because I never told her teacher who is Lo and La.
Good job Angelina and way to go, girl!
This is what the whole bulletin board looks like...very creative!
The happy camper girl surrounded with the dried leaves
Left Wing is the morning class and right wing is the afternoon class
Lulu and Lona....the teacher don't have any idea how special these names are for Angelina maski iba ang baybay pero it's the thought that counts.
Wish computers were invented during my time when I was at school in a certain university.
If I recall, there were those pre-requisites classes that I have to take in order to be a part of the education family. As an educator, we have to take the basic math subjects and of course the very confusing algebra.
I humbly say, I can understand the equations, problem-solving and formulas but still I need some math help to sum up what I learned. One hour, twice a week learning in a classroom setting wasn't enough for me. I need some online math tutor just like what we have with our present generation. I would say that if online math help did exist during my time, I wouldn't be stress enough learning and understanding my algebra subject. It was just be as easy as 1-2-3!
I agree that additional help outside the classroom is very crucial based from my experience.
Each individual have different pace in comprehending what the instructor is trying to impart to his students. There are those what we called the fast and the slow learners. So if a child needs some reinforcement outside from the school zone, there is this free online math tutoring that would help them.
Online math tutoring has grown in popularity and for good reason. Because all children are different, the specific benefits to each child may vary. But for sure, free online math help will benefit the child's better grades. It's a stress free family environment. Imagine how nice it would be for you to not have to worry about helping your child with his math homework every single day. Your child can attend online math tutoring at tutorvista.com from his computer and you can then spend some quality family time together at the same time.
So, if you have a child who is in K-12 or who is back to school and need some college tutoring, don't hesitate to check out tutorvista.com.
When I picked up Angelina from her school, she showed a chopstick that is not familiar in my eyes. We're still inside the classroom so, I had the chance to asked her where it came from.
"My friend Elaine gave it to me and I can take it home," her word of wisdom.
I showed it to the teacher and she luckily announced to her class not to share their chopsticks.
Angelina gave back the amazing chopstick to her friend.
While we're in the car, I was imposing again to Angelina not to use anyone's chopstick or else she can get very sick. Glad that she was in the good mood to listen some advises.
On the other hand, I witnessed this little baby girl biting an air freshener and I was pretty sure, it was from the men's urinal. Have you seen a men's urinal, I mean how it was being designed?
Well, the Dad was in-charged watching a year old child, supposed to be while the Mom is the women's bathroom.
You know how children are, specially that kind of age. She disappeared so quick and came back with an air freshener from the men's restroom. It was the mom who just came out from the bathroom noticed it and asked, "What do you have in your mouth, baby?" She freaked out and screamed to her husband for not paying so much attention. The wife and I were looking at each other and it was me who figured it out where it came from.
Yeah, little child can reach it since it's very low.
"You better wash that child's mouth really good and let her gargle some water," the demanding command of the wife to her husband.
For sure, I would say it was the Dad's fault for not watching closely his very active baby.
At least, I have some true to life story to tell and a moral lesson comes after...right?
When the Lord looks at your heart, what does He see? Every one has an outer life and an inner life. The outer life is our public life that people see around us. The inner life is made up of our thoughts, attitudes, and motives. Only you and God know what's going on inside of you.
Too many people today go around pretending-acting one way, yet on the inside they're thinking something totally different. Their heart and their actions do not line up. We have to understand that God looks at the inside. We can fool a lot of people, but we can not fool God. God would rather us be open and honest than go through life pretending.
Take inventory of what's going on inside of you today. Are you at peace? Are you overlooking offenses? Do you believe the best in people? Are your heart and actions lining up? If not, submit your ways to the Lord today and ask Him to give you an undivided heart. Line up your whole being so that you can live pleasing Him all the days of your life!

One of my Dearpie's hobbies is gold coin collections. He's been doing this before he found me.
He explained to me that coin values are determined primarily by four criteria: rarity, quality, grade and popularity. Truly rare coins typically have the highest values and have produced by far the greatest overall returns for investors.
In almost every case, scarce and rare gold coins perform better as hard asset investments than do ordinary buy bullion coins and represent a better value for your money.
In most cases, collectors should look for to buy gold bullion in the highest grades they can afford. However, many of the sharpest collectors and investors will seek out the key rare dates of a series, which can be astronomically expensive in Mint State, in one of the lower grades -- provided that they can find a coin with exceptionally high quality for-the-grade and excellent eye appeal.
These high quality, lower grade coins are often a better value and far more affordable than the higher grades. In the more common issues of a series, it is far more important to purchase gold bullion as the higher grades; but key dates in lower grades, if they exhibit outstanding eye appeal, can be fantastic investments. At American Gold Exchange, we've always urged our clients to this pursue this kind of strategy, knowing that rarity and quality will drive a coin's market price and value farther and faster than grade alone.
After hearing what my husband has to say about buy gold coin collections, I refer him to this website online at goldcoinsgain.com where he can see and compare the spot market of the coins he likes.
So, if you like to buy gold coin and do some investment with regards to this matter visit once again the goldcoinsgain.com.

I went with Hubby for his early Doc's appt at downtown Denver. While waiting for his Dr, who's in a traffic jammed, I guess per receptionist, I had myself a cup of coffee and then start my morning walk from 18th St. down to 16th Street Mall.

What a great morning, the sun was up and we're in the 50's. I just had my light coat though and enjoying my short visit at the Mall.

Ako unta gukdon ng naka-suit morag daghan man ug tawo ba!
I can relate myself as a probinsiyana taking my time in the downtown looking the sky scrappers and all those tall buildings. Too bad my camera died on me when I was posing myself with the green sign "16th Street Mall". What a bummer! Supposedly, someone was helping to take a shot of me.
After 45 minutes of walking, I went back to the office building where my DP (dearpie) is patiently waiting for me. He was done with his Dr's visit and just patiently waiting for his wife to show up so we can go home.
On our way home, we dropped by at Delectable Eggs for our breakfast. Of course, it's yummy as always...pagkain na kasi eh!
Here I am, checking in my computer, blogging a little bit and pretty soon I will take our little girl to her school. At this moment, she's still taking her morning nap with her Lo and La.
